Volunteer With EWS-WWF

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for EWS-WWF!
As the work and profile of EWS-WWF in the UAE continues to grow, the number of people contacting the organisation offering voluntary assistance has increased. This potential group of volunteers could be a valuable resource to EWS-WWF.

The main objectives of the EWS-WWF volunteer programme are;
• To utilise individuals and groups who are interested in being actively involved in the work of WWF.
• To develop an ‘ambassador education programme’ to meet the increasing interest from schools for presentations on wildlife and environmental issues.
• To raise awareness of the work of WWF in the UAE.
• To increase the education and environmental awareness work of WWF in the UAE through a network of volunteers.

EWS-WWF is thrilled to receive your support, whether its your time for one of our events, help on a conservation project, spending a day assisting in the office, or you are joining our 'Education Ambassador Programme.'

The Education Ambassador Programme was launched with the aim to create awareness across schools in the UAE on the biodiversity in the UAE and environmental issues, especially climate change.

The programme was initiated after receiving a lot of requests from schools and universities to have EWS-WWF come and speak to students. We aim to educate thousands of school children across the Emirates, and through them, to reach out and influence a larger audience.

Our first ambassadors have been trained and will soon be visiting schools. We are looking for more, especially Arabic speakers.

EWS-WWF benefits from the donation of time, talent, passion and dedication, and we thank each one of you signing up as volunteers.
