Emirates Wildlife Society (EWS) is a UAE environmental non-governmental organization, established under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s representative in the Western Region and Chairman of Environmental Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD).
EWS works in association with WWF, one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organizations. EWS-WWF has been active in the UAE since 2001 and has successfully initiated and implemented several conservation and education projects and initiatives in the region.
EWS-WWF works federally and in the region with offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah and is governed by a local board of directors.
Job summary
The Senior Corporate Partnership Manager is responsible for driving the growth of restricted and unrestricted income streams through the establishment of effective relationship management  of corporate partnerships. He/she will be responsible to lead EWS-WWF main corporate engagement programmes including the Sustainability Partnership Programme and (SPP) the Sustainable Giving Programmes (SGP).
The Senior Corporate Partnership Manager needs to have deep knowledge of Corporate Social - Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability development.
The Senior Corporate Partnership Manager will be responsible of securing an income of AED 2.2M from existing and new corporate partners in the UAE. 
The Senior Corporate Partnership Manager will also be responsible to provide high level relationship management with different types of partners and will provide strategic plans to recruit new partners from the corporate sector. 
Key Responsibilities Key Performance Indicators
1. Fundraising Plan and Strategy.   
1.1 Develop a fundraising  plan that includes different tactics and strategies for a number of prospects.  1.1 Due in 1 month after the appointment.
Annual fundraising plan is presented in November each year.
2. Fund Solicitation and Donor Recruitment.
2.1 Approach identified contacts from the corporate sector.  2.1 At least 40 corporates  monthly.
2.2 Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion towards solicitation and closure. 2.2 At least 4 calls with each prospect monthly.
2.3 At least 3 emails with each prospect monthly.
2.4 At least 2 meetings with each prospect monthly. 
2.3 Provide donors with generic and customized proposals.  2.3 At least 20 proposals a month. 
3. Lead Generation  & Donors Acquisition  
3.1 Identify events and functions to meet and network with potential corporate partners.  3.1 Attend at least 1 event a month.
3.2 Using online platforms to generate leads (existing platforms such as Hubspot, LinkedIn and external ones such as Zawaya .. etc.). 3.2 Ongoing.
4.Donors Stewardship  
4.1 Supervise the delivery of donors’ benefits. 4.1 Ongoing, as per the donor recruitment
4.2 Making introductions to other colleagues to their counterparts within the donors organisations. 4.2 Ongoing.
4.3 Providing reports, updates and other communication requirements.  4.3 Ongoing.
4. Partnership Management   
4.1 Responsible account management.   4.1 Ongoing - As per EWS partnership guidelines.
4.2 Regular meetings with existing donors.  4.2 Ongoing - As per EWS partnership guidelines.
4.3 Establish relationships with counterparts/peers at new donors and partners and be the second point of contact if needed.  4.3 Ongoing.
5. Internal Communication
The Corporate Partnership Manager will be required to take part of internal meetings within the unit and at the organisational level.
He/She is also required to contribute to the building of the business development content writing.

5.1  Weekly unit meeting.

5.4 Other activities as required by the unit director. 
6. Line Management
The Corporate Partnership Manager will report to the Business Development & Marketing Director and line manage the S.G Project Manager. 
7. Organisational Support
  • Represent the organisation positively in public at all times by acting as a professional representative and ambassador.
  • Support the mission and goals of the organization across all programmers and units.
8. Administration
  • Maintain accountability to administrative systems (mainly salesforce) and procedures, including submitting expense reimbursements, invoices, lobbying reports, and so on by the deadlines assigned, as well as submitting content for the organizational calendar and informing other staff of activities and whereabouts.
  • Plan and report the personal performance indicators in support of the line manager.
  • And any additional task as required by workload or at the request of the Business Development Manager.
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated success in Fundraising, resource mobilization or corporate partnership.
  • 3+ years experience in managing strategic accounts whether as donors or corporates.
  • Knowledge of CSR in the Middle East is required.
  • Knowledge of proposal writing is essential.
  • Fluency in English is essential, Arabic is preferred.
  • Interest in all aspects of the environment, wildlife, terrestrials, green energy and other topics that are undertaking by EWS-WWF is essential.
  • Bachelor Degree in marketing, business administration and/or corporate relations management.
  • Master degree in related field is desirable.

Skills required
  • Valid UAE driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Flexible team player willing to play interchangeable roles within the corporate team when coverage is required.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Adaptable, flexible, able to take initiative and prioritize among competing demands
Working relationships
Internal -  Liaise with Communications, Conservations and Operations teams
External - Liaise with existing and potential donors.
